Sejarah — Our History

PT Mandiri Timber Pratama began its operations processing sawn timber. Over time, the company expanded into log trading, driven by a vision to deliver excellent service and quality products to customers — leading to the start of veneer and, later, plywood production, as well as wood pellet production to provide an environmentally friendly alternative fuel.

The Director of PT Mandiri Timber Pratama is committed to encouraging the realization of environmentally friendly products and Sustainable Forest Management by:

1. 01Trading wood originating from Sustainable Forest Management (SFM), FSC certified
2. 02Fulfilling the FSC values as set out in the "Policy for Association of Organizations with FSC"
3. 03Not being involved, directly or indirectly, in illegal logging or trading of illegal wood or forest products, violations of customary and human rights in forest operations, destruction of high conservation values, large-scale conversion of forests to plantations or non-forest uses, use of genetically modified organisms, or violation of any ILO Core Convention as set out in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work 1998
4. 04Implementing FSC Chain of Custody Standards
5. 05Improving human resource competency
6. 06Implementing labor-related laws and regulations and ILO conventions, including: no child labor, elimination of forced and compulsory labor, no discrimination in employment and position, and no restrictions on workers' unionization
7. 07Implementing laws and regulations related to Occupational Safety and Health
